Somerville Extra Care Scheme consists of purpose built accommodation owned by the local authority, in which personal care and support is provided. The care people receive is regulated by the Care Quality Commission, but not the accommodation. The scheme includes a communal dining and sitting area and a garden. It is staffed 24 hours a day.
