ABOUT LOCAL CARE PROVIDER - CAREWATCH (LEWISHAM)
Carewatch Lewisham is a family run domiciliary care company operating under franchise in the London boroughs of Lewisham and Southwark. Since 2000 we have provided various services in Lewisham such as domiciliary care, reablement, respite for carers and palliative Care. In 2005 we were awarded a place on the framework agreement for Southwark domiciliary care services including working with the specialist Neuro Rehab Team in Dulwich Hospital.
Carewatch Lewisham has 13 years experience of offering person centred support to vulnerable adults with different degrees of care and support needs. Our service is individualised, person centred and is aimed towards delivering valued outcomes. We believe that our service users have the right to live lives that are meaningful and which enable them to reach their full potential as individuals.
Since December 2002 we have held Investors In People recognition (and have continued to do so). We attained 3 Star excellent rating from CSCI (Commission for Social Care Inspection) for 3 consecutive years, exceed the National Minimum Standards for Domiciliary Care and have passed each CQC (Care Quality Commission) inspection with excellent feedback since its inception.
People who use our services, and family carers, have increasingly clear expectations that they should be able to direct their own support needs with choice and control. Involving people in their services is an essential means of securing improvements and ensuring services empower and respond to the needs and aspirations of users and family carers. The involvement of service users and their families is a long term priority for Carewatch and we recognise this must go beyond involvement in personal support planning.
Our primary focus is to provide the highest standard of personalised support to each of our service users. Our experience combined with our trained and passionate staff ensures we are ready for any care support our clients may need.
