The Christchurch office of Bluebird Care forms a part of Bluebird Care Dorset and operates alongside our offices in Ferndown, Wareham, Dorchester, Bridport and Weymouth to deliver a quality service across the county.
Bluebird Care Dorset is a multi-award winning care provider and has reached the finals of the 'Care Innovators' category of the Great South West Care Awards for the last three years in a row.
The majority of our customers are private customers. This means they have chosen us as their provider because we will deliver the highest quality service. We recognise that, at any time, they could choose to go elsewhere for their care and that they will only remain with us if our care meets their high expectations.
What makes our homecare services different is that we put you first. We aim to provide you with the same standard of care that we would expect for our own families. This means valuing each person’s unique qualities and seeing them as an individual, and not as a list of care needs.
We offer everything from personal care to shopping, cleaning or social visits. In fact, everything you need to remain in the comfort of your own home
Visit times range from 15 minutes right up to 24 hour a day live in care so our customers benefit from as much or as little care as is needed
Our live in care service offers a dedicated Live In Care Supervisor who will keep regular contact to ensure our customers are satisfied with all aspects of the care that they receive
Our staff have all been through a rigorous selection process. They are caring, trained to give medication and police checked
We take an active role within the local community including operating a monthly community grant scheme. Previous winners of this grant include the Homelands Acitivty Group in Chirstchurch
We also provide dementia care which can include companionship visits or a ‘sitting service’ to enable caring relatives to take a well-earned break. We are committed to creating ‘dementia friendly communities’ and are proud to be a part of the Dementia Action Alliance
