Not just carers, they have become my friends

The Bluebird girls are not just carers, they have become my friends. There is nothing too much for them. Look forward to them coming in each morning and each one brings their own personality with them, I've laughed with and had loads of discussions from music, my family and believed politics with them. I would find it difficult if there was no banter and laughter between us.

Caring provider

Staff are friendly and helpful and will turn their hand to anything. I care for my daughter who has stage 4 cancer and is very poorly and also has 2 little boys (she's a single mum). I tell the carers they are caring for me as it is me they are helping out with whatever needs doing in the house. They are always cheerful and friendly. Often, the only people I see all day.

Quality care

Reliable, we have never been let down given that care can never be an exact science the carer always turns up at roughly the time expected. Cheerful, smiling, willing carer always presents with a fresh smiling face regardless of the previous call. Does a good job as arranged without supervision. Confident and capable which inspires trust in carer's capabilities.

Professional and caring

The staff/carers of Bluebird are a breath of fresh air! They are well trained, friendly, professional and caring. The attention to detail of my wife's care is admirable. As well as the above, they are respectful towards myself, wife and family. We have been blessed to have the services of this team.

Friendly and considerate manner

Management very professional and communicative whilst always being helpful and prepared to 'go the extra mile'. Carers are well chosen to be proficient in their jobs, are well trained and undertake their caring in a friendly and considerate manner.

Excellent care

A very caring provider that listens to the client's need and provides tailored care. As a family we liaise with them and this has resulted in excellent care for my 97 year old Mum. She is treated with dignity and kindness and this care has enabled her to continue living in her home environment. Superb!

Very accommodating and go the extra mile

Bluebird care provides me with very good care. They are very accommodating and go the extra mile to cater me when other care agencies let me down. I would have all my care from Bluebird if the price was lower.

Very caring provider of service

Bluebird Care have been supporting me since December 2017. The staff assisting with my care are very professional, supportive and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they treat me with respect and are warm and caring in their approach. Although I have only used the service for a short time I feel I have known the staff longer and am very comfortable with them.

Effective support at short notice.

My wife had a serious operation and on the first week home I was her carer. We needed full time day care and Bluebird responded at short notice in a very professional way. My wife was very relaxed and and relieved with the quality of the carers. They did everything they promised and were most caring.

Well trained and professional

The carers of this company are well trained and professional but also they have pleasant personalities and show empathy to their clients. The management, whilst being professional, are approachable and give help to their clients not only in the area of their defined duties but are also willing to give help in any area.

Provides real care

Keeps us informed of any changes. Arrive on time and leave on time, do not leave early to include travelling time. You pay for one hour care and you get one hour care. On many occasions the staff have gone beyond what you would expect, being very concerned when my Mum was not well and bringing a water sample bottle to my home at 8 at night so I could get Mum to do it the following morning and having it checked in at the doctors. Also Mum had a bad fall recently and they sent a lovely card and box of chocolates to her. Lovely management team.

Frequently go beyond expectations

We have used Bluebird Care services since they began trading in October last year. We are extremely happy with the service provided and would recommend them without reservation as caring service providers who frequently go beyond expectations to give the best possible care to clients. This has given us great peace of mind to know that our mother's needs are being met.

The service provided is of the highest calibre

My exposure to this company is that they are providing a caring service to my wife who is suffering from Alzheimer's Dementia. The service provided is of the highest calibre, they are professional in what they do and have correct attitudes coupled with a high degree of empathy. The management is again very professional and is very progressive towards the service they provide in that they continue to try to make their service more appropriate to their clients needs. They are very selective in their recruitment policies and very thorough in their training practices. A further key factor in their favour is that in addition to routine functions they control they willingly provide advice and assistance to carers such as myself concerning problems arising from long term care. This feature is very much appreciated.

Always keen to support my needs and requirements

During the past two months I have been receiving support from Bluebird Care Durham North and am happy to say this company offers high quality and compassionate care. I receive two calls each day and am very familiar with the carers who come to my home. The care assistants are always professional, courteous and above all caring. I am also familiar with the Registered Care Manager Debbie and the director Yvonne. The management team are always extremely approachable and are always keen to support my needs and requirements.

Mum feels comfortable, valued and respected

I have been using the services of Bluebird Care Durham since January to help with the care of my Mum who has limited mobility and various medical needs. After an initial meeting with Yvonne and Debbie, I felt very confident in their abilities. Their staff are excellent, proving compassionate, reliable and I can fully trust them with the care of my Mum and more importantly my Mum herself feels comfortable, valued and respected. I would highly recommend this company, for any element of care.
