Dedicated provider

St Judes treat their clients and their staff well. My mother has Alzheimers disease and we pay for her care privately. This is to enable her to live in her own home, go out for walks, visit National Trust gardens and have a genuine home cooked meal every day. I have liked all the carers but if my mother/carer relationship has not worked out this has been sorted. I am regularly (several times a week) in touch with my mum and often speak to the carer.

Caring provider

It has given us security and comfort in our own home with live in carers who look after us well and also feed us well. It is expensive but necessary as we are both disabled and could not look after ourselves. I would recommend this company to other people in a similar position to us.

Very reliable and pleasant

Very reliable and pleasant, friendly and clean carers throughout. Carers usually come at the same time each day. Company readily accepts cancellations from me, with notice, when I have activities or visiting family.

A very caring provider

Well organised and punctual service. Very satisfactory. If for some reason my meal cannot be delivered precisely on time I receive a phone call to explain why etc. The carers always offer to do extra jobs if time permits.

They really do care

St Jude's helped with my father in laws end of life care, I couldn't fault their support and understanding while ensuring that my mother and father in law had regular carers who knew his likes/dislikes and routine. It didn't matter if I rang last minute with some changes the office were so helpful and understanding. St Jude's helped to ensure my father in laws end of life journey was a peaceful and at home. Thank you so much for everything you did. I don't think we could have managed at home without you all (carers and office staff). You really do care.

High quality care in need of better admin

St Judes provide high quality carers who do an excellent job. It is not clear to me why they do not beef up their admin so that they would support simple home management issues like changing a light bulb, internet shopping etc. I have now managed to evolve a workable system but only by ignoring some of their stupid rules.

Thank you for your feedback it's always good to hear our carers provide the highest quality care. As an employer and a provider of care who is CQC registered and recently inspected as 'good' we have to ensure we are protecting both the client and the carer in all aspects while continuing to deliver high quality care in a clients home environment. As I am sure you can appreciate this offers it's 'challenges' yet we find that if you speak with your dedicated care manager we can normally find a workable solution for all while still ensuring we are safeguarding everyone concerned. They seem to take care with the carers they employ. They try to keep the same carers. No problems experienced with the carers. Any queries are resolved quickly.
